I got caught up playing team totals and looking back at it, I'll stick to more of what's been working for me and that's 1st 5 innings or run totals. I'll play team totals if I think it's going to be a high scoring game as I rarely play any team total unders.

If I can hit minimum 54%, I should make a profit for the season. I rely on winning percentage because I don't bet money lines and I try not to play high favorites and I do play plus odds. This is almost equivalent to laying -110 on all bets. I'll probably up my units so I don't have to play as much wagers and hopefully continue to have a winning percentage at the end of the week for a winning season.

Funny you ask, I was looking at that game and deciding if I was going to take the under 3.5 at +1.05 or under 4 at -125. Like you said, Cubs aren't hitting and Cincy's is not scoring any early runs. This could be a 2-1 game after 5. Good luck if you decide to play this game!

I concur. As mentioned in my recap, the line was available for under 4.5 runs for -115, I took a unit and wished I took more. But hindsight is always 20/20 so I'm satisfied with the result.

The 1st 5 has a very high price to pay at 1.55 for 3.5 runs or 1.3 for 3 runs. But it's a good looking under play. I may play under 6 instead. Good luck!
