u'll notice the bet-sizing stuff i'm developing in my soliloquy-laden thread is what i first posted in your thread a million years ago (well, not as ancient as the expression "do me a flavor"...but seems like a while, eh)...

only difference you'll notice, was then i was fascinated by UP-adjusting the $-def'n only...which we called "ratcheting"...now i see the benefits over the long haul of adjusting daily, whenever B changes (for any reason--including a fortuitious deposit into or a necessary withdrawal out of the bank)...in EITHER direction...basically like declaring that each and every day of betting is "the first day" with units (whether they're used as twinits like me in my thread or as hybrits like you here or as riskits like most of the soccer/tennis people) set to match each day's "just like new" bank

ratcheing (ie. UPjusting only) is more aggressive and over the haul outperforms bi-directional adjusting...but it is also more volative...as you're magnifying the up-moves but not minimizing the down-turns...so the "peak to trough" $-pain is greater (and so is the probability of serious $-damage being done to the account by a particulary nasty spell of bad weather...necessitating the dreaded "reload"...which i try to avoid at all costs)
