    GrantingYou Winners MLB 2014 Thread
    All,

I've never posted on a regular bases before and not sure I will be able to keep up with it everyday, but I am going to try.

I have had some excellent seasons in baseball. I never ever bet more than 2.5% of my bankroll, with 1% of my bankroll being an average play. I am starting with a $40k bankroll, and I will be adjusting it daily. Also, on favorites greater than -110, I risk my units to win the comeback. I do NOT let the bookmaker control my risk.

All plays today are 1% of Bankroll

    Chicago Cubs +160 = $1,000 to win $1,600
    Boston Red Sox Under 8.5 - 107 = $1,070 to win $1,000
    Tampa Bay Rays -163 = $1000 to win $613

    Always List Your Pitchers

    Good Luck to you!

Tough Break with the Cubs, but the handicap was correct. If I win 40% of these type of games @ +160 it will be a great year.

Looking decent with the Red Sox and Rays.

      Monday 3/31 Recap

      2-1 +$613 ROI = 19.99%

In baseball, I don't count my record as it's meaningless, but I will for tracking purposes. All that matters is the dollars won and your "ROI" or Return On Investment.

Yes, it was only 1 day, but it was a very strong day that could have been even better but the Cubs didn't get there as a +160 dog losing in extra innings.

      Plays for Tuesday April 1st

      NY Yankees Over 8.5 - 110 $1100 to win $1000
      Texas Rangers -137 $1000 to win $730
      Atlanta Braves +108 $1000 to win $1080

      Good Luck!

First, I feel like a moron as my first post had several errors. My bankroll is $40k for baseball, but my average play is 2.5% with no play ever being more than 5% of my bankroll. In other sports, I play 1% normal play with no play every more than 2.5%

        Recap for Tuesday April 1st

        2-1 +$710 ROI = 22.9%

Really should've been a sweep, but the Yankees could only muster up 2 runs against the Astros. Anyhow a great two days to start off the season.

        Baseball YTD

        4-2 +$1,323

Plays will be posted by 9:30am PST.

              Thursday April 3rd

We are off to a very hot start, but unfortunately there is not much value in the card today as the Bookmaker seems to have the lines pegged pretty good in my opinion. In baseball, my normal play is 2.5% of my bankroll, but today, my plays will be 1.5% of my bankroll.

Please remember, I don't let the bookmaker control the risk I am betting, so anything above -110, I risk that amount for the comeback. So for a $100 per game bettor with a -150 favorite, you should be better $100 to win $67.

              Detroit Tigers -152 $627 to win $412
              Chicago White Sox - 141 $627 to win $445

              Good Luck!

I think it's too hard to gauge who's gonna win and lose this early on in the season... I wait a couple weeks to feel out who's solid and who's not..

Liking the Dodgers so far to get off to a fast start even with the pitching injuries if I must gamble and bet... We see.....

I understand this way of thinking, but there is a lot of value early in the season if you understand the game. A lot of people put too much emphasis on Spring Training stats. Certainly you have to consider, but money is to be made even on Day 1.

I am not saying you should tail me or anyone based on 9 selections, but I've only had 1 losing season in baseball in 2005, which was -900 for the year. Last 3 years, I have really done well.

                  Good luck to you.

                    Thanks.. Same back to you..

I do pretty well with baseball once the season gets going as I find baseball too be very streaky.. Either with pitching or team trends. Such as - finding out which teams are consistently winning home and away series, etc.. Example - Can bet off a rebound loss in a home series and feel very good about if that team consistently wins home series in the past... Hard to gauge all that this early in the season I think.. Pitchers need to settle in, the offenses need to get rolling consistently, defenses need to play together and I think it takes a dozen or so games to get the trends set..

There will always be surprise sleeper teams that do well, some of the hot teams from last year will fall off this year too.

I also been betting baseball for maybe 15 years now and always have a winning season as far as I can remember back, but I typically break even or start the season off losing and then catch up if I start betting this early.. As much as I want to gamble on it now I'm gonna hold off for a week or two..

Baseball is the one sport that I find you can win and win big, ride winning streaks, hot pitching, etc.. I'm really gonna go after it this year and am setting up multiple online gambling accounts now.. I'm excited as last year I really got dialed in late and cleaned up..

Just sharing, best of luck to all you guys too.. Follow the trends and winning streaks in baseball!!! Hot pitching and hot offenses is a winning combo always..

My take and I do what works for me.. Just sharing..

No $500.. I just don't put all my trust in these online internet gambling sites period.. You start winning too much off one and they cut you off and stiff you.. So I try and spread it out with equal bets on 3 websites.. Chances of getting paid something after you do win big on 3 are much greater... Much safer then putting all your eggs in just one basket and hoping that one big check comes in the mail or your gift card is credited....

I've been stiffed on 2 sports book websites already in the past 8 years... Sportsbook.com did me wrong big time.. They still owe me about 3 grand that I will never see. I'm currently working with Greek, Brovada, and Betus.com and about to ad 3 more this month with baseball season cranking up.. Betus.com I'm getting a little nervous with these days as I've won alot of money off them over the years.. They haven't cut me off yet but I'm sure it's coming soon with another really big winning season on baseball....

If the Braves Bullpen can hold on, then it is a clean sweep 4-0 day with two decent size underdogs.

Also hit my first double play of the year. Off to a great start and guaranteed a winning week!

                                        Let's finish the game Braves!

                                              April 5th Recap

4-0 on the day and +$4,836 and Bankroll is now +$45,442.

Again, for baseball, a typical play is 2.5% of bankroll which is adjusted daily. On occasion, I will have a double play playing 5% of bankroll.

I'll be back by 9:00am PST time tomorrow morning. I will be conservative tomorrow, as I want to ensure a winning week.

                                              Good Luck!

Well the best medicine for a 0-2 day on Monday is to go 3-0 on Tuesday and that is what we did with the Brewers, Jays & Cards picking up $2,427. YTD, I am know +$4,847 with my bankroll at $44,847.

For those that think a record means something, which is meaningless in baseball, I am now 16-9 on the year.
