Did you watch the game? Marlins had 6 hits in the first 5 innings but were stranding guys left and right. Cubs didn't even get a hit until the fifth, when they got a two-out single and then a fluke double down the line that only scored a run because of a horrible OF shift.

Marlins had a ton of chances.

The only reason the dude scored on that hit was because of the Marlins' funky OF shift, which basically cost them every run they gave up today. Marlins had a man on 2nd with one out twice and the bases loaded once in the first five innings alone, and didn't score a single run out of any of it.

I'm not saying the Marlins were the right side, BUCK -- when you win an extra-inning game with a -120 favorite, though, it's easy to argue that it was more luck than anything else that it cashed. To say "Literally pissing me off ppl thought Marlins had a shot" is a little biased. I had no dog in the fight, but all in all, that was a 50/50 game, and yeah, the Marlins had a shot. A good one.
