So I did a nice long write up explaining why I like the Cardinals to win their upcoming series with the Mets but my computer decided to delete it.
The quick bullet points were Cardinals have had lots of success on the back end of 9-12 game road trips.
Their three best starters will be going at the back end of the series and each of them had success at Citi-field in 2013.
Considering the pitching and hitting advantage and the price at -160 I think the Cardinals have a greater than 65% chance of taking this series, or at worst tying would be closer to 75%.
A 5 unit play to take this series of 4 games comes out to be well worth the risk. If they can manage to win tonight with this guy Lyons then I like the chances even more.

I would play maybe less wager. But still a better chance with Wacha & wainwright. Cards just saw Go Gonzalez and Strasburg so they're also liikely to put up a decent amount of runs tonight.Comment -

Detroit Tigers/Chicago White Sox OVER 8 -110: This one is likely going for another rainout but I really like the play. Mr. Cy Young is throwing today but he gave up three or four runs a couple times in this ballpark last year which is among the tops for hitters (and No Abreu last year). Perhaps the Tigers might be able to cover the total of 8 runs alone now that El Gordo (Cabrera) is beginning to hit without Prince Fielder behind him in the line-up. Both bullpens are rather horrendous so I think getting this number, in this ballpark with bad pitching/fielding conditions has decent value. 1.1unit to win 1unitComment -
