Look brother, you may not believe in jinxes, but a lot of other people do, especially when it comes to sports/capping.... If this was your thread, by all means I'd say post whatever you want. Damn! My blood pressure was spiked with these last couple of bigger unit games. I'm just gonna close my eyes and wager on them from now on. Not watching the game, gamecast or check the score. I'm assuming you watch sports, so you must realize how many times a play by play guy/commentator says something like "X player hasn't hit a shot/Field goal/Home-Run in x amount of games" and the exact opposite outcome happens as soon as the announcer says something, happens all the time. It's not that much different than saying things on here in posts. and how many times do you hear an announcer say "he has not hit a hr in x amount of games" and the outcome stays the exact same? prob way more often than when it goes the complete opposite, but your brain (anyones brain, not just yours) is trained to only remember the times it happens the exact opposite. announcers do this all the time and the vast majority of times, the opposite outcome does not occur. its the same thing when you have a bad beat vs a lucky win. which one are you going to remember WAY more? when the pirates lose when they were up 8-2, or when the "insert team here" wins when they were down 8-2? answer: when you have a bad beat. works the same way with jinxes. sorry you cant grasp this concept.
