MLB: I'd like to see every team play each other team during the regular season

Why not have a series with each team playing all other teams at least once?

30 teams, even a 2 game series in some.

Seems like a decent approach.

I'd prefer not. In fact, I'd rather they do away with inter-league play altogether.

From a competition standpoint, the idea of having everyone play everyone would be an improvement. With the current system of having a specific division play a specific division, some teams, sheerly by luck of the draw, play much tougher opposition than other teams in the same wildcard chase.

But I don't really care about the competition. My thinking is all about betting. My systems become less effective with the interleague games. I'd rather just have DH teams play each other and same with non-DH.

Almost anything would be an improvement over the schedule they have now. What needs to be done first is that each team within a division ALL need to play the same schedule, and have the same number of home-away games against one another. If you want to begin to understand what complete bullshit the schedule is now, all you have to do is comb through the schedules that the six teams in the NL Central play against one another.

This year, the Cubs play 42 home games against NL Central foes, and 38 road games against NL Central foes. Doesn't take a membership in MENSA to understand the inequality there. Can you imagine if the Yankees played four extra AL East games at home?

Would love to see my team (Twins) play every team for at least one series including the NL. Now they play the Royals 18 times a year and that gets boring fast.
