How do you handicap spring training? Starters pitch 2 innings. I think one year I bet $10 on every underdog and won a few bucks but was pretty close to breaking even. I can't wait for baseball to start...

Pretty dumb to bet them, but like you said, I would just bet dogs and probably do well.
The same can be said for the first two months of the season. Everyone tries to find angles and edges during this time, and they all get slaughtered.

First few months is more difficult but one of the best times for me. For some reason I always win using basic strategies. I have to be careful in the later months when I have more data because I try to get more fancy.
