What does action or action/action mean?

Just wondering what these two meant? Was thinking about betting on baseball today

Action means you're betting on the game, regardless of the starting pitchers. During the regular season is when you'll see lines for "listed pitchers," meaning that's the line for the starting pitchers listed, and they will change or even the game wiped off the board if one of the starters fails to make it to the mound for any number of reasons.
