Has anyone heard of this system? I tracked this system for the last three years, the first two years the system was very profitable, but last year was awful! The system is simple, it is a chase system, you bet the underdog in the first game of the series for 1 unit, if it wins you are off the series, if the underdog loses you bet the underdog in the next game for 2 units, and so on. I hijacked this system from an oldtimer,as I overheard a conversation he was having with someone else, he says this system built his bankroll in the 80's when Ceasers had an eight cent line. I know I didn't get the whole system,( I thought I did till last year, lol)but I belive with a few filters added this system can be very profitable! Anyone know of this system, or a similer one? Info is greatly appriecated!

Only look at 4-game series. If the road team wins the first game, start your chase with game 2.
Home teams rarely get swept in a 4-game series, no matter how bad they are or how good the opponent is.
Be prepared to lose nearly 19 units if you chase and lose a three game series. Otherwise, don't do it. I have detailed math posted in page 14 of the JM chase thread in the basketball section to back this up. Good luck.
ETA: Actually it might not be 19 units exactly, depending on the lines of the specific baseball games you're betting on. The 19 units was calculated using Morrison's system of buying 3 points for -170 odds.

All chase systems are garbage imo.
They ALL crash and burn for the most part.

I agree, but what I was trying to say is with a couple added filters(ex. only use in divional play, or interleague) I belive it can be successful. Also, you will be risking 15 units if you lose a four game series, because you will always be betting the dawg.

if your do a chase, maybe do a 2 game chase
unless your units are really small or your br is really large, then go crazy.

Pretty cool! I think we should have a special thread for this system, with daily reminder picks to bet on the underdogs for that day, so that we can track its results for this year.
I like systems that are consistent, and I don't mind building my bankroll slowly.
first of all this is a tout site.
2nd, they arent just flat betting ALL underdogs like you said.
Not sure if you can read or not, but they are obviously filtering and selecting specific dogs on a given night.
And to netinfo if you are willing to fork over the cash for this and start up that thread with the picks that would be great!

Hey rookie you fell for the quick google search regarding betting dogs lol, look there is no source as you say, I just know people in the industry who have done this not myself including come out very profitable on certain days, thats all I have for you when I made the comment it was 50% sarcastic 50% "real talk".

I'm not sure how much it even costs, there is no price anywhere that I can see.
