LT Profits: Blue Jays vs. Angels u8.5

The UNDER is a very lucrative 24-8-5 in the last 37 head-to-head meetings between these clubs, and we are not about to buck that trend here tonight.

A.J. Burnett must be considered a disappointment for Toronto this year after being brought in to be the second starter behind Halladay, as he is just 7-6 with a 4.22 ERA. However he is finally rounding into form, albeit too late for a playoff push, as he has five Quality Starts in his last six outings. His last start was probably his best in a Blue Jay uniform, a Complete Game 5-1 victory over Boston where he allowed just three hits. He should be tough on an Angel lineup that has never faced him before.

Joe Saunders has done his best pitching at home for the Angels, as he is 3-1 with a fine 3.41 ERA here in Anaheim. He is coming off of an outstanding road outing at Detroit where he limited the Tigers to one run on just five hits in 7 1/3 innings. Saunders also pitched very well in his only start vs. Toronto allowing two runs and five hits in 7 1/3 frames.
