White Sox at Red Sox - Sep 6th
    Healthy Red Sox the Pick

    By: Ross Benjamin

Back to full strength on offense, the value on Boston right now is too good to pass up.

Once again we have a Boston team that is virtually back to full strength after sustaining several injuries to key players and are slated as a home underdog.

The Red Sox are 43-26 at home this season and have too much character in their clubhouse to throw the towel in. White Sox starter Jose Contreras has never really gained back his early season form after coming back off the DL. Contreras is 0-4 in his last four starts with a huge 9.90 ERA and 2.09 WHIP. He is 5-8 in his team starts on the road this season with a 4.96 ERA.

Boston starting pitcher Snyder isn’t exactly the second coming of Don Drysdale but he won’t have to be. This again is too much value to pass on.
