Detroit is the right play tonight.

Gray limited the Tigers his first time around, twas' the first time he faced that lineup, obviously an advantage for the young pitcher. However I expect Detroit to get to Gray tonight just like the Cardinals did to Cole last night, and give Verlander an early lead.

Verlander - 9 innings of shutout baseball over his last three starts, allowing just 18 base runners with 33 strikeouts, an average of 15.63 Ks for every 9 innings of work. Coupled with this Detroit lineup that seemingly got some of their bats back in game 4.

Thanks. Let's hope so. My gut is saying DET/StL. Or maybe that's just what I prefer to see. I don't know.
