Dodgers prevail behind Maddux

On the road in Milwaukee, the Dodgers should continue their winning trend with Greg Maddux on the mound.

The Dodgers are 26-8 in their last 34 games. They are also 19-8 in their last 27 games as the favorite.

The Dodgers are 5-1 in the six games Greg Maddux has started for them. Milwaukee has lost nine of their last 10 games. The Brewers have lost three of Dave Bush's last four starts. Milwaukee has lost 9 of the last 10 meetings with the Dodgers.

Look for Maddux to have another solid outing and the Dodgers to come out on top.

Don't look for the Brewers to end their 10-game losing streak today against Greg Maddux and the Dodgers.

The Dodgers saw their seven-game winning streak snapped Sunday, but the team is 26-8 over its last 34 games.

Greg Maddux, who is 3-0 with a 2.37 ERA in six starts with LA (team is 5-1), will take the mound this afternoon. While the Dodgers are just 29-36 on the road this year, they have won nine of their last 10 meetings with Milwaukee and Maddux is 13-5, 2.41 ERA in 23 career starts vs the Brewers.

Milwaukee limped home this past weekend on a seven-game losing streak (all on the road) and then promptly got swept by the Marlins in Miller Park, extending the team's losing streak to 10 in a row. The team is batting just .213 in the slide with its pitchers posting an ERA of 5.48. Dave Bush has pitched fairly well at Miller Park this year (13 appearances with a 6-4 mark and an ERA of 3.77) but how can one take the Brewers until they at least win one?
