Did you ever think you'd see the day where Roy Halladay would be
+105 at home against Tyson Ross and the Padres?
Wow.

Yeah... I remember sitting in a bar a few years ago with Halladay on TV and the guy next to me says, "Man, you just bet Halladay every time he pitches and you can't lose." How true it was. I was tempted to lay some bucks on Ross tonight but decided to pass.

It's SD or pass. Halladay has nothing left. You'd be betting on the name alone, and it ain't 2007 anymore.

What surprised me was how much the line was moving in SD's favor.
They opened at +116 and closed at -111. WTF?
Nice night BTW Boss.

Tough to see Halladay like this. Guy needs get it together or just retire. No point hurting his reputation with this kind of play.

Halladay will turn 37 next May. He's not going to retire with million$ on the table. A few months of downtime in the offseason is going to help him heal up from that shoulder surgery this year. At this point, the Phils should just shut him down for the season and hope for the best next year.
