CWS has a rookie pitcher on the bump that just got rocked by the yanks.....Porcello against the White Sox, has gone 8-1 with a 2.50 ERA over the last 11 matchups, including a 3-0 mark in four starts this year. The Tigs are only 4.5 ahead of the tribe so you would think they would keep the foot on the gas especially against the last place white sox and losing last night....
The Cards have been red hot winning 10 of 12 at home and are fighting for a playoff spot so every game counts. Miller has gone 7-3 with a 1.92 ERA at home that ranks among the best in the majors. The Cardinals have averaged 5.8 runs and batted .301 while winning 10 of 13 against the Brewers.
Are these selctions solely based off value?
Just wondering your angle considering your 24-3-1 record.....

Tigers are struggling and are facing a rookie pitcher they know nothing about.Tigers are 20 games over .500,but barely over on the road.
Miller is a rookie pitcher that has already beaten the Brewers twice this season,in fact he has dominated them. He's an over .500 pitcher mostly due to the wonderful run support, but he's struggling lately. He's giving up a HR every 4 innings in his last 5 starts. The league is catching up to Mr. Miller.
