MLB plays selection

I need a little of advice guys. How do you pick a selection on MLB ? I mean, how do you analize a game ? Me personally, i base my action on starting pitchers records, dropping odds and last team results. Is there anything else i should look at when i analyze a game ? Thanks.

Since starting pitchers rarely pitch an entire game, the bullpen is extremely important.
