What was the opener? Can't see much right now...only 5D's current line that has TB at -110. Was actually leaning KC initially anyways.

False. Just heard Will Myers on local radio talking about staying at the hotel last night. So I'm assuming they got in last night

how does that make any sense? if they flew out in the morning where did u expect them 2 sleep last nite? at the airport? its pretty much noted everywhere that they would fly out this morning not last nite... so clearly they slept in a hotel last nite and flew out this morning

My post didn't make sense? Will Myers said he had dinner with and old teammate in Kansas City last night(Will Smith). Royals minor league player from Omaha. So I would assume to whole Rays team flew in last night instead of this morning like everyone is reporting. Unless Will Myers is lying about dinner or he flew in early by himself.

The Rays have a one-day trip to KC for a make-up game. This info. came from the St. Petersburg Times Rays beat writer....
The Rays — or at least most of them — left after Sunday's game for Kansas City, where they'll play an afternoon makeup of their May 2 snow-out then fly back home. They're traveling light, taking only 21 active players (leaving the other four starters home), one fewer trainer, none of the TV crew, no suitcases (carry-ons only) and less than half as much equipment (extra bats, uniforms, training room supplies) as usual. It's just the second time the Rays have made a one-game-only trip from home and back, losing at New York in 2004.

RHP Jeremy Hellickson will have 10-15 friends and relatives from his native Iowa on hand today in K.C., but none of the other starters who would normally greet him in the dugout when he comes off the mound. (They instead will be working out at the Trop.) "It'll be pretty weird since I'm used to giving them high-fives every inning on the top step," he said. "I don't know who will be there; it'll be different." LHP David Price said they do have a contingency plan for the now customary starters jump if Hellickson throws a complete game by using the FaceTime video feature on their phones.

I really liked Oak tonight and they're looking good so far....couldn't pull the trigger though. Can never pick the right side when Griffin pitches. I think I'm 0-6 on games he starts this season
