thats a pretty big price change overnight...i lean cards either way...especially with heyward and upton out and the since braves already got the division on lock.

anyone have any inside info to explain the line change?

      The pitcher for St Louis:

Kelly has been the Cardinals' best pitcher as of late. He's not been scored upon in three of his last five starts, and the Cards have won six of the seven starts he has made since becoming a permanent rotation member.

      against him the braves have:

Maholm will be activated from the DL to start for the Braves. He's been out with a bruised left wrist and hasn't pitched since July 20. Maholm pitched well in a rehab start for Class A Rome on Saturday and came away encouraged by his command.

Why would you expect the public to be all over the Cards? NL East leaders/winners at +140 may have appeared generous.

st louis is only 4-5 games back behind atlanta...and are in a tougher division this year...so their standing in their respective divisions is a mute point...

st louis at home...cards won 6 of last 7 kelly starts...

much better hitting team than the braves...and braves missing heyward and upton...their outfield is basically gonna be bj upton hitting under .200...schaefer whos average...and god knows who else...missing some big bats man. if anything the line should stay around the same rather than moving 20 going on 25 cents...

You seem to think the public bettors put a lot of thought and logic into their bets.
