I see Cingrani (CIN) and Wood (ATL) are -210 and -225 today
That's a lot of chalk for a couple of rookies.

Cingrani has good stuff but he has a propensity to be wild. I might play the SD TT.

Sure enough and congrats if you played them, but Wacha Wood and Cingrani pitched well. Wood especially -- 2 H in 6 IP with 7 Ks with 1 BB. Damn that's good. But yeah the juice yesterday was way too high, didn't touch any of these games.
Lines for their next outings should be interesting. High again no doubt but not as high. Cingrani at Milwaukee and Wood home vs. the Natinals. Wacha to the bullpen.
Speaking of young pitchers Eovaldi has been dealing. 1 H surrendered to the Braves in seven strong wow. Must be hanging with Jose Fernandez. Next up Giants at Miami.

I didn't mean to disparage those pitchers. How they performed was irrelevant. My point was that the lines favoring them were asinine and incredibly inflated.
