heres a little info on the cubs pitcher tonight:

Walrond will be the 13th different pitcher to start for the Cubs this year. The lefty was 10-5 with a 3.98 ERA in 31 games at Triple-A Iowa this year, including a 9-3 record and 3.77 ERA in 20 starts.

The Cardinals have had trouble against left-handers.

Yea but if you look deeper into it, this cat is 29 and has only pitched 8 innings in the majors with an ERA of 10.13 back in 2003 for KC. It's not like he's a young prospect or anything, more like a career minor leaguer. The Cards are due to have an offensive breakout and I don't see why they can't pount this guy tonight. I really liked the over as Weaver has been pounded all year long.

But going up against Jeff Weaver, you have a shot at winning a game. So its a good thing for this guy Walrond getting to face Weaver.
