Just how good Bagwell's 1994 season was.
Roughly 115 games into this season:

    ML BA Leader: .361
    ML HR Leader: 40
    ML RBI Leader: 103
    ML Hits Leader: 143
    ML 2B Leader: 40
    ML Runs Leader: 82
    ML SLG Leader: .673
    ML OBP Leader: .455
    ML OPS Leader: 1.120

    Bagwell through 110 Games

    BA: .368
    HR: 39
    RBI: 116
    Hits: 147
    2B: 32
    Runs: 106
    SLG: .750
    OBP: .451
    OPS: 1.201

I know he broke his hand right before the strike so he would have conceivably missed the rest of the season but would we not have been looking at one of the all-time great seasons? 200+ hits, 53-55 homers, 155-160 RBIs, 150 runs, 45 doubles. He would have put himself top 5 all time total bases in a single season. His slugging for that season is 11th all time (Pujols highest is a tie for 62nd) OPS is 20th all time (Pujols highest is 74th and Cabrera 62nd)

I don't know if or how many times its happened but how many season has a guy finished .350+ 50 HRs 40 2Bs 150 RBIs and 150 Runs? Ever?
