    Braves/nats
So an 11-5 mike minor who has 5 ERs in his last 4 starts is an underdog to a down to earth straus? Oh and the Braves have won 10 in a row?

Natinals worst in MLB at hitting lefties with a .212 BA. Yet they've hit Minor well over his career, .261 in 31 IP / 6 starts. Remarkably, Strasburg has never faced the Braves.

Given Minor's recent excellence, the Braves' momentum, the Natinals' slide and the the favorable odds, Atlanta is an easy pick.

            Too easy?

Washington has hit Minor well, but they've also hit lefties well in the past. Strasburg has never faced thr Braves? He's seen them for over 50 innings, over the course of 10 starts...

oh for fukk sake. this is what happens when i try to think without adequate caffeination. i was looking at Strasburg's career splits and realize now i was looking for his record against ... WAS.

Note to self, do not post on message boards before well into second cup of coffee. Thanks for the catch.

Braves can bury the nats in this series.

Uggla owns Strasberg! He's going to hit a 2-run HR off hit and that will be the deciding blow!

Nats are hitting .261 vs Minor and Braves are .313 vs Stausburg. The way the Braves are playing right now and their better average against Strausburg, no way can I bet against the streak. The Nats just lost against the Brewers in a game that they were up 4-0 in the 1st inning only to lose 8-5 against a Brewers team that hasn't been hitting well.

strasburg has allowed a homer in his last 5 starts. also the last time he faced the braves he allowed 1 hr in a shortened 2 inning start. this could easily be a 2-1 game for the braves
