What are the most surprising individual numbers or team stats in MLB this year?
The sickest stat is probably the Cardinals avg. with RISP. It was .337 a couple weeks ago, I'm sure that's a record number if they keep that up. IF anyone has their updated number on that, feel free to post.

    Here's another one:

METS are 6th in runs scored.
That number is just mind boggling to me.
They score it in chunks, because their offense can go a week of not scoring at times.
Their bullpen has blown more games than almost anyone I'd guess, but it's not like they have a threatening lineup. Bunch of butchers.

    Other random shockers:

    Liriano's numbers.

Carlos Gomez numbers (Roids though obviously).

The number of strikeouts for the Braves offense (They are going to blow away the previous MLB record for whiffs in a season by a lot)

The Redsox being in first place.

Plenty of crazy numbers in MLB this year.

What other shockers do we have boys?
