This is a profit of over 37.45% since my thread was started a little less than a month and a half ago. The goal in this thread is to use sports betting as a profitable investment, whether we bet large moneyline, underdogs, or ATS. I keep 100% transparent tracking of my results. I am only trying to beat the S&P 500 because as a man going to college to acquire a degree in Finance I have been taught that if you can beat the S&P 500 then you have made a wise investment. The S&P 500 over the time frame of the day I started my thread in the baseball forum (7/19/13) until today (9/8/13), has decreased about 1.9% (it opened at 1686.15 on 7/19/13 and closed at 1655.17 on 9/8/13). So with our over 37.45% profit, we are killing it.

I have also decided to give some gambler perspective on clearing a percentage profit instead of just isolating it to the S&P 500 benchmark. We will call this new comparison the Benny benchmark. When we placed the bet on Alvarez straight up, I said I hope Mayweather wins and I feel he is the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world. But, I thought that Canelo's power and size compared to Mayweather presents value.
Well your boy Bubbles is always looking for shit for the fam and he saw Mayweather by decision at a price so we could meet in the middle with these two boxers and GUARANTEE a profit, so why not take the guaranteed money? We win 0.5465 units if Canelo wins and 0.35 units if Mayweather wins by decision.
The two things that will hurt us is Mayweather by KO, which I do not think will happen because I don't think Mayweather looks for KO's really anymore. He won by KO 3 fights ago, but that fight was almost 2 years ago and I don't see Canelo getting knocked out. The other thing would be a draw, but that kills any boxing bettor.
