The As hit anything well, except for some stuff like locke has.
Swing and miss shit doesn't Get to their offense very well cause they know the strikezone but when you get to stuff like locke he got this crazy slurve or circle changeup and decent heat on fastball 92-95 I think with movement... he throws curves And those crazy circle curves/changeups that may be pretty unique as far as I have seen. when he gets those early strikes with those is where he gets on fire. 0-2 count often with Hard to hit stuff. As will be hunting fastballs it all really comes down to what type of strikezone these pitchers get cause Colon can paint it up better.
Colon touches all corners goes in and out when he's right and has mostly everything in the zone. When he gives up hangers sometimes they get hit hard. I feel like pirates swing real hard and are pretty patient. They were going hard vs cubs yesterday scored 4 runs. That was off a strikeout Pitcher I'm afraid they will score A lot off colon but hell everytime I think that's what is gonna happen he gives up 4-5 hits total.
Im looking into my memory of pirates walk rate vs hits per at bats in last few weeks nd see if they been tryna draw walks rather than hit and all I can remember is hard hit stuff in the zone and occasional walk by ump call mixed with more strikeouts looking than walks..... but lotta hard hits n some well placed ones
I like how both lineups aren't familiar with pitchers, but I'm guessing pirates line up swings away pretty well At Colons stuff. If he keeps it outta zone he can get em out well.
Locke will get hit and his era will go up For sure .93 era. 6-0 at home. Best record in league. I wanna fade locke just cuz of trends This a team that can light em up A bit. Maybe a hr blast. Cespedes is due....

Just because colon has to bat, NL style game, the amount of grounders and flyers locke has. In like 90 innings pitched he has only 6 home runs a 2.0 era or so and .90 at home or somehing, and only 40 somethin walks. A walk every two innings about
Colons numbers are just as amazing almost they both all star pitchers but since colon has to hit today and he will be an out the As aren't used to I'm worried they try n hit longball a lot and locke 90 innings 6 homeruns.... pretty low.
