Washington Vs Mets (Jordan vs Gee)
This Jordan guy is going to be a good (maybe even great) MLB pitcher someday. Will his first start go well? I'm not sure. Gee is basically a hit or miss major league pitcher these days. Washington is the better team all around here so I think this is definitely worth a play. I sorta wish Jordan was pitching at home in his first game, but this should be a good test for him. I like Jordan and Washington here.

    Washington -105

    Thoughts?

apparently Jordan was undefeated in the minors before making his debut today...

have you seen video on him? what kinda arsenal of pitches does he have? like how hard does he throw?

however it does NOT worry me that his first start will be on the road... b/c the Mets have a pitchers ball park and possibly the worst line-up in the national league.

94-5 MPH 4 seam fastball, plus sinker, change drops out of the strike zone average slider. Excellent command, induces a lot of ground balls as all pitches drop.

Extremely deceptive delivery hides ball real well a la Jeff Weaver.

No discernible splits against lefties or righties. Not overly stretched, was so efficient in AA that he was around 100 pitches, maxed out at 114.

Looks good for a first timer especially in this yard against this lineup.

Bear the Nats have never done shit with Gee. I don't know why you wouldn't wait to see if there is more value elsewhere in this one. Waiting for FF total and Mets TT.

Fukkin Nats could easily hand the kid his ass by not scoring much.

Gee have been killing Nats so far, I'm tempted to take Mets in this game.

Gee and Jordan made it interesting in the first after each retired the first two batters they faced. Fortunately they still cashed a scoreless first frame for me.
