    First innings and Edwin Jackson
Think it might be time for a new routine, chief?

We're all missing the boat by not playing "yes" for first inning runs scored when Jackson pitches. He's one of the slowest starters I've ever seen, and he obviously does nothing to try and fix the problem.

By the way, I had some time so I went ahead and looked up some stats on this genius thread. These are the type of threads that are absolutely useless...if it went the other way you wouldn't be posting this right?

So 4-7 including tonight. I'd like to see what his first inning ERA is over the course of his career, because I'm not talking about just the small sample size of 2013. And four times in 11 outings is a pretty good clip to allow a run when we're only talking about the first inning.

well you said to blindly take it every time he starts right? Why are we looking at last season, it's about the current one. and yes, you will be 4-7. The point is, we are definitely not missing the boat like it's so easy to cash on this.

More of the same this season and tonight. I had kind of forgotten about this until I watched another disastrous start.

He alone is 4-7 is he not? Considering you still have the other teams pitcher and "yes" can typically be found at + $, it becomes much closer.
