What kind of line is this?

haven't really looked at this game yet but these numbers rationalize the +188

Books are begging for Cub money, I bet there will be a shit load of Card run line money too.

Look for a 4-3 or 5-4 type one run win for St. Louis.
Books will collect from all sides.

What's Wood done against the Cards this year? He's a much different/better pitcher than he has been in years past.

I agree nasher -- that +1.5 is awfully tempting at a pretty low number on the Cubs' side. Cubs aren't really that bad; their bullpen is just atrocious.

I didn't have time to look at anything but I'd assume wood kind of guy cards hate to hit against. That said miller prob shut scrubbies down. Tight low scoring makes sense.

I like this. Games that are nationally televised, or atleast on ESPN are uncapable. What ever makes sense, bet the opposite.

Bro 108 at bats is 108 at bats. He didn't have an arm transplant. I agree he has improved but you should know baseball enough to know if guys have seen a pitcher that many times he isn't suddenly going to fool them. It only happens the other way. With that said +188 has a lot of value especially considering the Cards have been playing just about .500 ball for a couple of weeks now, but your analysis is off. I'm just waiting for a 6-1 victory for stl so you all of a sudden come back flabbergasted at how a superior team could possibly win with so much "value" on the other side

108 at-bats as a team is a lot? In his other start vs. the Cards this year, he gave up 1 run in 6.2 IP with 8 K's.

You have completely contradicted yourself in the bolded part. I don't even understand what you're trying to say, other than the fact that you're covering your bases for either outcome.

cards seem to always win after a loss.

however, i think the cubs are a great value bet and could pull off the win. cards are back home after being on the road for a bit. they are obviously tired, they lost 2 of 3 in miami....

They don't struggle against them as much after the La Russa era. Really its an entirely different team from when they had those struggles, Holiday is the only medium holdover from that era where any lefty that could max out at 89 would be a cy young candidate when they played.
