I mean trends that are ONLY FOR THIS SEASON. But we are something like 1/3 to 40% done with the season and I wonder how much trends matter or if its just coincedence. For example a pitcher has a home/road split...but he faced CWS, Hou, and MIN at home while facing STL, BOS, and TEX on the road...I feel like at this point the sample size for any "trend" is pointless. I find it hard to believe until about 2/3 of the way thru the season that it matters.
