Oakland is now 8-2 at Kansas City last 3 years and will be looking for some revenge today after getting swept in the doubleheader yesterday.
Oakland is 171-98 since 1997 and 12-2 in August this season, while Kansas City is 18-54 last 3 years when playing on Saturday.
Oakland bullpen has done nicely this year with a 3.53 ERA overall and a nice 3.10 ERA on the road. Kansas City is only scoring 4.5 rpg overall this year and 4.6 rpg against Left Handed Starters. The Royals bullpen has a high 5.14 ERA overall this year. Zito has a 3.83 ERA overall this year and is 8-2 with a 3.11 ERA on the road, and a nice 2.55 ERA vs Kansas City since 1997.
