Do you feel it could prolong games longer than they should though? Games are long enough as it is with the multiple visits to mound and pitching changes. It takes them long enough to find out if the ball has been hit out of the park or not I can't imagine how long they'd take over a close base running call.
Then how far do you take it? Pitchers/batters can refer strike decisions?
Imo let the umps do their job, sure there are terrible calls but we've all been on the right or wrong side of them. The only games I wouldn't mind taking longer to check calls is the playoffs but in saying that only the world series for me.Comment
