He's in the Big Leagues on the basis of one thing and one thing alone: He is Left Handed. No RH 2 pitch pitcher with Kirkman's low 90's FB, weak Slide piece and absolutely nothing else would ever be on a Major League mound in June - let alone pitching for a contender.
