Volquez has NO business being favored..prove me wrong

Last 10 starts and this guy hasn't been favored in any. Not to mention hes 0-2 with an 8.68 ERA in two starts against the BLUE JAYS.

I serious doubt SD sweeps here. Give me the JAYS at + whatever. Don't tell me the bats are cold (the nine games prior to their last four, the Blue Jays scored less than four runs only once, plating 58 runs and averaging 6.44 runs a game.)

Not one bit! You see what Gimabi doing in the MLB..tearing the seams off the ball at that age. They called this guy up for a reason beside Morrow's replacement. As a starter, Ortiz is 1-2 with a 3.77 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and three strikeouts in 14 1/3 innings. Not to mention hes a 4 time call up. I'm sure they had other options but I like a Vet rather then NO Name Rookie.

By the way.. How long ago were those two starts against the blue jays for Volquez?

It's a spot play for me rather then his past performance again the JAYS. He's coming off his longest outing of the season (7.2 innings) with a win over Settle which makes it even better being a below average pitcher. IMO he sucks and shouldn't be favored (this will be his first time in last 10). The only slight worry I have is covers.com/pageLoader/pageLoader.aspx?page=/data/mlb/umpires/2013/umpire8360.html hes a home warrior ump but has called fair games on the opposition.

jays offense is pretty good. pitching and defence not that great at the moment..... however they do hit a lot of overs at rogers centre.......

I wasn't thinking you meant NEVER in fact they have won on the road recently and 1-4 without Lawrie recently as I stated. The fact of the matter is they have talent without him and power in the bats without, so your judgment should be JUST base on him.

My OP was base on Volquez...he sucks in the spot shouldn't be favored. I proved my point by the in game stats here:
