1st and 2nd with no one out, down by a run should = automatic bunt, no matter who you are.

The crack head's hitting .216 with 18 RBI in 209 at-bats. What, exactly, do you think he's going to do in that situation? Get a hit?

And then Kendrick grounds into a double play. Classic. Scioscia should be fired on the spot. This team is a farce.

Any MLB team is "dangerous" when your opponent literally does none of the little things right it takes to win games. They just try to out-score you and nothing else. No defense, no bullpen, poor decisions by the "manager" -- the list goes on and on.

Part of the problem is the hand he's been dealt. To be fair to Scioscia, the ownership is who put this dysfunctional mess together in the first place. But he's not doing anything to make the situation better. The entire franchise is a lost cause right now, from top to bottom.

Would have been impossible for big albert to move over to 3rd on a bunt IMO but thats why they have pinch runners, and ya, that was pathetic and Hamilton is a joke.

Angels in the AL's bottom five in fielding percentage, steals, ERA, bullpen ERA -- their record isn't an accident. Anyone waiting for them to "turn it around" is going to be waiting a long time. They just aren't a good ballclub.

No one can bunt anymore in baseball. No one.

It's pathetic. Everyone on the roster used to be able to get an auto bunt down back in the day.

Not sure if you saw the Alex Avila bunt today, know you're a Tigers fan, but that serves as an example. Top of the 7th started: double, single, single (run scored), and Avila comes in - bunts into a double play, essentially takes the Tigers out of the inning, and they go on to lose this game to Baltimore. If you can't hit, or bunt, wtf are you doing in the lineup? Avila is not being paid 20 million tho, mind you.
