    Live In-Play Chases, 5Dimes
Usually for baseball I chase the game looking for a 0 run inning (0 away, 0 home).

I start with a 2 unit hit for the first inning and then chase for a 1 unit profit.

So far in the games that I have followed this season the system is 60-0 with 39 first inning hits. Thought I would start a thread if anyone has the availability to do this / wants to follow along as see how it works.

Maybe I'm a moron, but are you betting that there will be no score in the first inning, or that there will be a base hit in the inning? I play a lot of first innings score-no score myself, So I'd be eager to see what you're doing to be 60-0.....Because Im far from that, maybe up 8 units over 100 plus bets...Thanks!

I was live betting today, not to hijack his thread, but I think this is what he means.

Live bet no score in 2nd inning, if that loses...
Live bet no score in 3rd inning (2x), if that loses...
So on and so forth til there is no score in an inning. At which point he'd be up his unit

            Bliss: This

I have always planned on going 4 innings before giving up the chase. Using a line of -135 on average, a "loss" in the system would be $29.55 for 1 unit profit throughout and $37.40 if you go for 2 units in the 1st inning. Honestly, I have gone into the 4th inning once and it was a little scary. The system has to be 97-3 in the one-unit system to turn profit (and a little one at that) so I'm not sure how beneficial it is long term. That's why I thought I would start documenting my picks.

I have also had luck with doing a 4 inning chase FOR a run in a tie game (0-0, 1-1, 2-2) starting in the top of the 4th. For those interested in that.

5Dimes usually only has 1 game available for in-play chases. Tonight it happened to be Texas/Boston.

Doesn't this always happen when people start making their plays public? Luckily, I don't think anyone is actually following along at this point so there is always that silver lining.

1 more inning before the failed chase. Boston will not stop scoring...

I'm most certainly a "small time" kind of guy. For me, this is $2.40 to win $2.00, etc. I just notice most people post the plays looking like 100 as the "unit" size. Sorry, should have mentioned that.
