Timmy used to be consistantly -200 with a 6.5/7 total in all of his home games. Now I question if he is the better pitcher almost every time he takes the mound. This has to be the biggest blow to a legitimate superstar I have witnessed. He is only 29 years old, and two years removed from a great postseason in 2010: 4-1, 5 starts, 6 appearances, 37 innings, 10 earned runs, 43 strikeouts, 2.43 ERA. Lincecum to this point can not be counted upon, and all hope that he returns to prior form could only come from the most optomistic of fans.

Actually he was offered a long term contract after the 2010 WS, and he opted for arbitration. He is in the last year of a 2-year $40 million deal. I doubt he sees more than $10 million a year, on a short term deal.

It is really weird to see a guy go from a pitcher that cannot be hit to a what he is now while he is still young. Bring back the long hair...isn't weed legal now in SF? I'm sure there is a doctor somewhere that will say he has some pain.

what the hell happened? He's still rather young with no significant injuries so how could his skill diminish so much in such a short time frame? Was he formerly using Performance enhancers that he has since quit? Makes you wonder.
