Can someone explain to me why the over/under is 11? Both these pitchers are coming into this game with a sub 3 ERA. Wood pitches extremely well at home and Peavy has outstanding numbers at Wrigley. I feel like the 11 is really generous and it should be the under here all day. Just baffled by this number....

I understand that wind plays a factor, but only 4 games at Wrigley this year have gone over the 11 run mark. Not sure why the number would be 11 with this match-up on the mound today. Out of 19 starts this season between Wood and Peavy only one game has passed the 11 run mark and that was the White Sox at Wash. I thought about doing the Over . Routine fly balls can go out. The wind is blowing pretty good out . I like the Rangers better though so went with them. There is the reason why the total looked suspicious. If its suspicious , best option is to leave it alone, or definitely take the side that does not make sense. Its like its already decided before the game. One or both pitchers will be loose and give up many runs. Cant do much about it. Even if you pull him after a grand slam the total is decided.
Or a few times, Detroit or Atlanta bats go to sleep and score no runs in games where they are heavily favored. Bottom line is Vegas is out to get our money. Best to look at them and kind of figure which side is likely to attract the majority of betters and go opposite or just run.Comment -
