ive cashed out a few times using them. it can take a few weeks to actually get the money in your bank account after you deposit the check depending on your bank, but besides that no complaints. and ya the lines arent the best out there. especially on favs. if your a dog heavy better tho bodog might give you a little advantage.

Banned Bovada (a.k.a. Bodog) years ago primarily due to their woeful customer service, lying and cheating. Not to mention their high cost of juice, where they never offer any reduced juice lines, and they do not offer a true dime line (or less) on MLB. For example, currently they have TO -152 & Balt +137. When the fave is -152, the dog should bring back at least +142. Instead of a dime line here, they're a 15 cent line. Currently they have BoSox @ -185 & Cleve +165, and so here they're up to a 20 cent line, which is twice the cost of juice compared to all the other solid books that offer a true dime line or better. Using Bovada to wager on MLB is foolish!

In other sports, Bovada is one of the worst when it comes to buying and selling points. In fact, you can never sell, and rarely do they even allow you to buy a half a point, much less several half points. They don't offer any quarter lines in the NBA, not even for the playoffs. They never offer half-time money lines. They never offer NHL period lines. For the longest time, they wouldn't even offer a puckline. They don't offer team totals. they don't offer 2nd half lines for MLB. The betting options they provide are of the fewest anywhere, which only curtails your ability to win there on top of their high cost of their juice.

They also never offer any comp for your play there to boot ,where so many others do, and so there's no reason to ever use them.

When I closed my account with them, the final straw was when they wrongfully cancelled numerous winning horsetrack wagers I had placed on a race. I was so excited that all my tickets on the horse I bet had won, and when I looged into my account to check my balance, was when I discovered them trying to cheat me. When trying to resolve with them, their customer service was just woeful lying sacks of poop. Ultimately, the reason they came up with for cancelling my bets, is alleging that I somehow placed the wagers after the race had started, which first of all, isn't even possible as when the race starts there are no more bets allowed.

What really got me even more irate about this incident with them, is that they never contacted me in any way about what they were doing and why. They just went into my account, cancelled my winning bets that they had accepted and confirmed, and I can only guess was to hope I somehow wouldn't notice. After their customer service gave me the run-around, lies, deceit, just abysmal service, I had to escalate the issue which was just a migraine and whole lot of my time wasted.

What seemed very easy and simple to me, was an arduous task for them and/or stalling tactics. Each wager/ticket for the race that was confirmed by them, naturally documents the exact date/time the wagers are placed. Just like the official start time of the race is documented, and thus it's black and white clear as day that the wagers weren't placed and confirmed after the race had started.

So took them a while to research or do whatever it it is they claim to do, in order for me to get paid. Their determination was that somehow they were going by the scheduled start time of the race, which wasn't even close to the actual start time of the race. The races were going off at that point about 20 minutes past the scheduled start time. In any case, doesn't explain how they would accept/confirm the wagers after the race had officially started. No explanation how if they discover something that they think warrants cancelling confirmed wagers, how they don't notify you in any way, but instead just go in your account and do whatever it is they feel like doing. So the fact is that they maliciously and intentionally overlooked the offiicial start time of the race and the time the wagers were placed, which are always clearly documented. No notification that if they had inadvertently accepted/confirmed wagers past post time, that they had to cancel the wagers/adjust my account. Of course, this shit doesn't happen if the wager were losers. Naturally, all my wagers were winners and was a nice payout on what was like at 12:1 odds.

They are conmen, just like Calvin Ayers the founder. Use 'em at your own peril.

If you are betting MLB on an offshore account use 5 dimes. Bovada is ok as a secondary book for betting dogs.
