The 2 Best and The 2 Worst

Alright, im starting a season long thread. This thread will only be focusing on what i think are the 2 best and 2 worst teams after a month and a half of play. TEX/STL and HOU/MIA. I will not be backing my picks with actual money, mainly just starting this thread as practice for next season, so tail or fade accordingly. All plays will be based on a $100, meaning if its a -120 fav i will be betting 120 to win 100, and if its a +120 dog i will be betting 100 to win 120. TEX is the only team ive been playing like this after a month and a half of MLB b/c they are my home team. Im up $493 since 5/8 and will carry this total over to the start of the thread b/c honestly ill probably need it in order to not look like a huge failure. Would stick with just TEX but i believe like stocks, diversity is the key in the long run. All comments, input, and picks by other posters are welcome as long as they have to do with the 4 teams listed.

early leans will always be based mainly on what i think is best value. actual picks will be locked in closer to game time, and will be based off of research, line movement, creditable posters, weather conditions, etc. anything and everything i can find on the game. all that being said, here we go...

locking in MIA (+160) and HOU (+152) to capture value. havnet done as much research as i like on the 2, but i see late public action on the fav not moving this line back towards opener. books seem to be favoring at least one of the 2 winning.

leaning towards starting off with an all dog night. trying to squeeze a few more points out of OAK and SD as they are starting to work their way back up towards opening numbers. looking for any post that can convince me to go the other way, so let me hear it.

the other 3 picks will be posted later on. tough to back tex here with the rookie pitcher. but imo even tougher to back a sweep of the rangers at home, esp when your only getting around even. the little bit of juice seems like the safer play today.

thanks man. havent decided yet if they are a play or a fade tonight yet. hard to back them after giving up that 3 run lead last night, but also hard to back KC at over -200. still leaning slightly towards HOU but gonna need some more convincing before i lock it in.

read the first post. im just focusing on what i think are the 2 best TEX/STL and 2 worst MIA/HOU teams in the mlb after a month and a half of play. the reason there are different teams is b/c sometimes im fading one of those 4 teams and sometimes im not.
