    And it isn't even close.

This guy should've been fired a long time ago.

He was awful tonight. How the hell do you change a pitcher who's on fire and then put in a bum who gives up 2 homers to blow the win.

Cap gave up a hit with a 1 out. So now the next pitcher comes in with a man on first and right away he's struggling. The batter was fouling every pitch until finally a homer. Then comes the next batter and bam another homer. It suddenly went from 1-0 to 1-3.

D Uggla flied out to right. 1 0
            B Upton singled to left. 1 0
            E Gattis hit for C Gearrin. 1 0
            K Jansen relieved C Capuano. 1 0
E Gattis homered to left, B Upton scored. 1 2
            A Simmons homered to left. 1 3
J Heyward lined out to pitcher. 1 3
            J Upton struck out looking. 1 3

Ned Yost when he was with the Brewers was pretty bad. Gibson is similar to Mattingly, as you have pointed out before I believe.

Yankee job should've been a layup for him as Torre's successor. I guess now we know why he didn't get it.

He was a very smart player, however leading and managing people is a horse of a different color.
