ATS dogs and ML favs MARTINGALE SYSTEM

So I'm new to MLB betting but saw on covers that ATS dogs (+1.5) are hitting 61.3% on the season and ML favs are hitting 56.8%. I decided each night I'll look for ATS dogs and ML favs I like (taking into account the pitching matchup and each team's home/away record depending which they're playing at) and martingale them, probably about 3-5 picks a night. Obviously there's a fair bit of juice so if the losses add up my wagers will add up even more, so I'm starting extremely small. Thoughts?

So last night was a decent start hitting 3 of 5. So martingaled the 2 losers today to cover their wager and the unit I wanted to win on them yesterday. Today's picks (first 2 are to cover 2 losers from yesterday):

WAS ML
CHW +1.5
BOS ML
TEX +1.5
SF ML
