    Play A's Against M's
The Athletics go for their 10th win in the last 11 games tonight at home against a stumbling Seattle squad.

    By: Mike Rose

The A's continue to amaze me every single season with the way they're able to rattle off huge winning streaks on a consistent basis. They're currently in the midst of a 9-1 mark, and the lone loss just happened to be the game Mr. Zito pitched back on August the 9th. He was flat out shelled by a hungry Rangers line-up, and should be out for redemption this evening against a Seattle team he's 12-2 against in his career with a solid 3.49 ERA and 1.270 WHIP.

If that's not enough for your pallet, the A's have flat out dominated the M's this year winning 12 of their 13 match-ups, and all six in their own backyard. Sure, all streaks come to an end at some point, but it doesn't look like that will happen this evening.

The M's are playing some poor ball right now, and just got swept out of Texas in a four game set to fall nine games back of the A's with a 56-61 mark. In fact, the Mariners have failed to win an AL West game since early June when they swept a three-game set in LA. They've now lost they last 13 divisional games, and that mark will get extended tonight as Zito pitches a gem in front of the home crowd.

    Play: Oakland -150

Zito just beat Washburn recently, but Zito is coming off a shelling in his last start. I will pass on the side here.
