Why is StL only -113 Saturday?
Cardinals have won the first two games of the series, Wainwright's been as good as anyone in baseball so far this year, and StL owns Gallardo. Yet StL has gone from -129 to -113. Am I missing something here?

Yo's looked OK this year, but it's the Cardinals. This guy has a serious mental issue with them.

Because mil own one of the best home field advantages in sports. Almost as good as the col advantage. Over the past few years they win 2/3 of their home games. It is actually a rare occurrence that they get swept at home by anyone. There are guys that do chase systems involving the HFA. Mil has been accused of stealing signs from the catcher because even when they have a shit team, they do so well at home. While they still may lose, odds makers know the HFA and aren't gonna pay the public a bunch of +$ until they have to. If this matchup was in stl under same conditions, I guarantee stl would be -160 or greater.

I personally don't bet against 6 teams at home no matter who they are playing or sending to the mound. Col, mil, bos, nyy, cin, and atl. These are some of the best HFA. If you make it a habit of betting against these teams at their house, its a losing proposition. I won't even bet against Bailey or Francis at home.

Home field advantage or not, it still looks too easy. Only the Cards bullpen can screw this up I think but they've been better recently than they were at the start of the season. Gallardo is going to give up too many runs for the Brewers to get the win, surely.

Great reasoning. The Cubs are also due to win the World Series and Amelia Earhart is due back any minute.

Already 2-0 Brewers and Waino's struggling to make it through the first inning.

Obviously the books saw something most of us didn't, though what that is, I'm not quite sure.
