I love the Pirates

I have no wager on the game, but I love this damn team. They just nip and bite and scratch and claw and hang around until they kick you in the face. Their lineup is awful, 95% of baseball fans couldn't name more than three guys on their roster, their team salary collectively amounts to about what A-Rod makes by himself, yet they just find a way. This is what baseball is supposed to be about.

I like Marte leading off, Andy Mac is a top 3 MLB outfielder, Neil Walker at second is beyond dependable, Garret Jones is a respected pro, AJ is pitching like he's 27 years old again, Alvarez has scary power, he hit the batters eye the other night in a moon shot, Martin was a good signing behind the plate.........
