lol what are some good tips on money management? What is successfull unit play with a 1k bank roll? or any bank roll?

1%, or in your case, $10, per unit. No more than $50 per play. Try to limit total plays in a day to 10%, or $100. Just my opinion. Not that I follow it all the time.

If you're a beginner then 1% would probably be best and as you get better you could up it some.

I do. You should if you wanna become profitable in the long run. Think of sports betting as a marathon not a sprint.
