Salty did a poor job framing that pitch. No ump is going to call that a strike if the catcher receives it like that.

He should have went right after the #9 and #1 hitters... chances are the worst that would have happened is he might have given up a base hit. By walking the leadoff man , he put the go ahead run in scoring position.
