They are the dogs at home. I know looking at the pitching matchup looks like the Reds here, but if you look into the game there is a different story
1) The weather: Gametime temp is a humid and muggy high 70s low 80s with wind blowing out 10-15 MPH
2) Jake Westbrook: I think this guy is the top groundball pitcher in the NL. The weather should not necessarily affect him, but in his first start he got 2:1 GB to FB outs.
3) STL offense. This team has great potential, but they seem to be streaky. 1-7 though every guy can take you deep or dink and dunk. Cinn has streaky guys that don't hit Westbrook well due to his pitch action.
If you don't trust the Cardinals bullpen which is very reasonable, I think the +.5 5inning bet is all right.
Regardless there is some great value on the Cardinals today.
