Very impressed with Peavy's first outing.
6 innings 6 K's, 1 earned, against a KC offense that can rake with the best of them.
I personally think he wins 18 this season.
Not saying Gio's start was crap, it was also solid, but this is a spot where I expect Peavy steps up.
But -152/+142 is out of line in my opinion.
Peavy matches up nicely tonight, White Sox can hit, and I can't resist the +142 in this spot.
There isn't really much to write up, so if you are looking for my usual 5 paragraph post, sorry.
Both teams can hit, both starters are solid, I just feel (a strong feel) Peavy on the W side of a 3-1 game in DC.
