I am going to be doing an MLB home team 3 and 4 game chase on the side. I am not going to count these towards my totals and these will be a totally separate thing which means i could at some times be betting against a team that i am betting for in a series game. If my regular MLB picks dont show a profit ill end up stopping them and just going with the chases.

Basically all i am doing is playing to win one unit per series. I am taking the home team throughout the series. If i lose the first game in the series then i will bet to win what i lost plus an additional unit for the second game etc. Since 07' about 10% of home teams have been swept through a series. Hopefully i can pick out the potential sweeps and avoid them.


There are 15 series' starting tomorrow. I am playing all of them except the houston series.


I wont be posting all the series' teams but i will say which series i am not playing and will keep track of total units.

@NarwhalPicks: Went off half cocked on the first rounds of chases. I already locked them in but I believe there may be a couple more i would hold off on.

14 series? That's putting quite a chunk of your BR out. Hopefully, you won't have to chase to the 2nd or 3rd games or at least the W/L even out.

Ya I realized I went a little crazy with the 14 series. I realized there are some teams I need to really stay away from. For that reason I am might be ending a few of the chases early for this series.

Also keep in mind my unit size is cut a lot when doing chases

Ok i dug into the chase numbers a little more and found out you have to be right around 88% of the time in the chases to break even. Because of this i will not be continuing the chases
